What is the difference between a tee time booking, tee time reservation or a tee time request?

First of all, you can browse through the thousands of golf clubs on Leading Courses. Not all of them are directly bookable online, but more and more bookable clubs are added every day.

On Leading Courses we make a distinction between:

  • tee time booking - the amount is paid in full and your tee time is immediately confirmed. You can easily identify bookings by the 'book now' text and the calendar icon with the 'thunderbolt icon'. See the image below.
  • tee time reservation (via our concierge service) - you only pay a reservation fee and our Customer Support team will try to make a reservation on your behalf. You still need to pay the green fee on arrival at the club. You can easily identify reservations by the 'reserve now' text and the calendar icon with the 'clock icon'. See the image below.

We do not provide bookings and reservations in all countries (due to time differences or because demand is not high). We focus mainly on Europe, the Middle East and certain countries in Asia and Africa and the Caribbean.

In the past, we also provided tee time requests (sending a form to a golf club), but these were not answered very often by golf clubs. Therefore we decided to remove them from our platform as we were often blamed by golfers for not providing them with an answer.

Note: You are always able to contact a club yourself by clicking on their email, phone number or website address on the club page of each club on Leading Courses. If these are not shown, then they either do not have a website, telephone number or mail address. Or they are not working.
